Welcome

The purpose of this online open house is to seek community input to inform our plans for pandemic and economic recovery and learn more about what you want to see at our parks, open spaces, and community centers in the coming years.

About Seattle Parks and Recreation
Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) provides welcoming and safe opportunities to play, learn, contemplate, and build community, and promotes responsible stewardship of the land. We envision healthy people, a healthy environment, and strong communities.
SPR manages over 6,400 acres, 12% of Seattle’s land area, and operates hundreds of amenities and facilities. These include parks, natural areas, athletic fields, gardens, play areas, sport courts, community centers, pools, environmental education centers, and much more. From caring for urban nature to providing programs and services for our residents, SPR plays a key role in the health of our community.
